Hiiii 🙂 My name is Damari McDonald, I’m in my first semester of college at CCNY where I took FIQWS English. My development as a writer this semester has successfully transitioned me into someone who can write on a college level as opposed to before where I struggled to even last writing 2 pages. During the semester I took a huge interest in the “Standard” English to the point where it was sort of a hyper fixation I had even going as far as having multiple long conversations with my friends about it. To me this issue is far more than what it seems and I wish to raise awareness about it.
